Bitrefill's Problem

The Fintech company recently launched their new Visa card that can be topped up with Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Although they are a renowned brand in the gift card market, they faced a lack of reach and UGC advertisement material for their card. Bitrefill was looking for a summer campaign to advertise their new card to vacation goers and have them spent crypto through the card.

The concept is to find out what makes a vacation unforgettable and then try to check all those boxes during the trip, trying to top each day by the following.

The video reached almost 1 Million views on X.

While showcasing the card subtly throughout the video, I implemented a main ad part right at the highlight of the video. This emphasizes on the emotions customers can feel when using their crypto on adventurous experiences instead of holding onto their assets forever, not living a fullfilling life.

My Solution and Results

To solve this, I created a long- and short-form content strategy that covers a 4-day road trip itenerary through Sicily, which includes both typical vacation activities like gift-shopping, going out, and tasting local delicacies, but also features extraordinary experiences one wouldn't connect with Sicily straight away. This not only gives some variety, but also keeps the attention during the video.
